On the 25th Jan everyone piled into the Tav to celebrate the engagement of Neil and Helen. It was also a special night as we saw the return of DJ "Mad Hat" "Cheesemeister" John Cornelius providing the disco. I think the words "Drunk" spring to mind when I try to remember what went on, but I do know that it was a brilliant night. A buffet was provided courtesy of Rob Walmsley, and Zoe made the engagement cake.

For more info see the news section. The funniest moment of the night was watching Bridder climbing down the ladders from the disco, only for them to slip away just after he'd got on them. They fell in slow motion with him holding on for his life. Somehow though he landed safely and even had his pint intact. As it was also Mike's last weekend we'd had a collection for him earlier in the week and presented him with some farewell gifts (including a model Rally car).
