On 26th September the Meg held its big charity night organised by Jo Garner in aid of the MAST scanner appeal at Macc Hospital and Ward 100 of the North Staffs. Entertainment for the night was provided by Irish Band Homebrew, and the ladies were treated to a Full Monty show by popular local strip act "London's Bulging". Mick put on a BBQ and a massive raffle was held including Shirts Signed by the Stoke Football team and signed footballs. In total the pub managed to raise over £1000.
