Saturday 18th April was the annual visitor from Mick's mates from Holland. Apparantely they've visited every year for the past 10 years. After a day watching Tottenham, they all descended on the Meg for a party. As DJ John was on holiday, Bridder took over spinning the Wheel's of Steel for a night and provided a night of pop, dutch music, and dance. In fact I've never heard so much dance music played in the pub - and everyone was loving it. At the end of the night everyone had a sing-a-long and Mick once again treated everyone to a rendition of

Sunshine Mountain - by the end of the song there was not one person in the pub who wasn't standing on a table, chair, bar, or pool table!!

For anyone in the pub the week before when Mick stole Johns ladder - revenge was served when Mick went up to make an announcement and some people who will remain nameless left him stranded up there by shifting the ladder away.

A great night seemed to be had by all, and hopefully all of the dutch guys enjoyed themselves. No doubt we'll see them all again next year!!
