Who can believe that yet another year is over. The Meg was the place to be this year with tickets being like gold dust. The theme of the night was the Rocky Horror Picture Show and although when it was first announced people didn't seem to enthusiastic when it came to the crunch, men and women alike didn't let us down and turned out in their stockings and suspenders. All of the girls looked great, and worryingly so did some of the men. Some of the costumes were just plain wrong though, but I suppose thats half the fun.

Just before the New Year the pub held a minutes silence to commerate all of our friends who have been caught up in the disaster in Thailand and the surrounding countries. Then as the clock struck midnight the partying continued and we all carried on getting very drunk! Happy New Year from all of the staff at the Roaring Meg
