In April 2006, Meg regular Phil Hazeldine quit his job as an A & E nurse and decided to go jetsetting around the world to Australia for year. While he's away he's promised to keep in regular touch and any emails or photo's that he sends back will get posted in this online diary!

30th April 2006 - Jet Lag

hey everyone. my god how hard did the jet lag get me last nite, managed to go out and have a couple of beers with lad from mac bird from canada, newcastle, irland, scotland, india. yes more girls than boys, well its hard not to keep talking to them. slept for 18 hours following little party so feeling top of the world, apart from the hang over. looking at going to adelade either thur or sat taking three days to get there it is one of the best coast line in the world and its called the big ocean drive, then we will nip into the mountains before unleashing the philster on another area of oz.

Guday bruce. ive just spent 10 mins writing a massive message and some idiot sat on mouse and deleted it so only a short one. Oi im on a budget. arrived in melbourne this am (fri 28/4/06) found hostol pretty easily and its mint in here, loads of hippy people playing music and stuff like that. will email agin soon let you know about the city of melbourne, like i said had wrote it once. dont forget about just yet. this is mass mail to alot of people so some of you can stop reading now. To ecke or belf. will one of you print off every e-mail i send so will have sort of running log when i get home, thanks. big rob will you tell my so called mate john harvey of this thing called e-mail. i might be able to send him a message if he ever sends a bloody address to me. thats all. thaks everyone for the send off, take care and will speak soon.
