The Roaring Meg - News Section

You may not be aware but the Roaring Meg has very close ties with a number of other people and bars around the world. I've created this page to tell you a little bit more about them all. If you're off on holiday to any of the places below then make sure you call in to say hello.

		Thailand - Pattaya - Nicky's Bar

Quite a lot of you will probably know Stumpy (Dave Chandler) and his partner Debbie who have frequented pubs in Biddulph for many years. In 2004 they moved over to Thailand to run Nicky's Bar. If you're ever in Pattaya on holiday then make sure you call in to say hello as you will be made to feel very welcome. Stumpy's sent me some pictures which I have included below. 		Japan - Nagoya

	This bar is situated near Nagoya in Japan. It is owned and run by friends of Meg Regular Bob (seen in the photo to the left). Yamaguchi visited the Meg in February 2004 while in the UK. On his return he sent us all T-Shirts to say thank you for the hospitality. We hope to see them again in the future.
